Richard Burns

Richard Burns was born in California, and began his painting career at a very young age. He won his first art competition at age eight, and the thrill of seeing his drawing, a tiger, featured in the local paper sealed his fate as an artist. Throughout his career, Richard has excelled at architectural drawing and sculpting, but his true passion is painting. Richard now focuses his energy in painting romantic cottages and wildlife art.

Besides his love of art, Richard is an avid runner and attended Northern University on a track scholarship with a major in art. In his new cottage series, Richard Burns has created an inviting world in minute detail. He captures the imagination of the viewer with vivid colors, textures, and lighting. Richard is truly a master at creating a romantic setting.
