So, picture this: Amy and I standing in our warehouse, surrounded by stacks of boxes that used to reach the ceiling. Like a few ants trying to move a mountain (or in this case, a warehouse full of products). Why, you ask? Well, we've decided to shake things up and hand over our shipping duties to a new fulfillment center. It's time to say goodbye to the old and embrace the new!

Why the Change?

Now, you might be wondering why on earth we would willingly subject ourselves to the chaos of emptying an entire warehouse. Trust me, we asked ourselves the same question. But after countless late nights spent packing boxes and navigating the treacherous waters of shipping logistics, we realized it was time to call in the reinforcements.

Our little business has gone through more change over the past year than an ATM and we simply couldn't justify trying to run our own warehouse anymore. We needed a fulfillment center that could handle the volume and get our products out the door faster than you can say "shipping label."

The new setup should be more manageable, more affordable, and will grow as we grow! For now though, it means a VERY SLIM inventory until more Diamond Painting products arrive.

The Great Emptying

So, armed with determination and a seemingly endless supply of coffee, Amy and I embarked on the great emptying of our warehouse. We rolled up our sleeves (figuratively, of course, because who wants to get their sleeves dirty?) and got to work.

First, we had to sort through mountains of boxes and decide what to keep and what to send off to the new fulfillment center. It was like playing a game of Tetris, but instead of fitting blocks together, we were fitting products into neatly labeled boxes.

Next came the fun part (and by "fun," I mean the part where we questioned our life choices): moving all those boxes. We hauled them onto carts, wheeled them across the warehouse, and stacked them with the precision of a Jenga master. It was a workout like no other, and let's just say our biceps were feeling the burn.

Embracing the Future

After what felt like an eternity (but was only a few weeks), we finally emptied our warehouse on Halloween thanks to all of you! The once bustling space was now eerily quiet, with only the sound of our triumphant sighs filling the air. It was a bittersweet moment, saying goodbye to the place where our business had grown from a tiny seed to a full-blown tree.

But as we stand here now, surrounded by empty shelves and memories, we can't help but feel excited for what the future holds. With our new fulfillment center taking care of the shipping, we can focus on what we do best: create amazing products and making you guys smile.

So, here's to new beginnings and the adventures that lie ahead. Amy and I may have emptied our warehouse, but we're filled with excitement for what's to come. And hey, if you ever need a master packer or a professional box stacker, you know who to call!
